Preparing Your Toyota for Touch Up Paint
Pick a convenient repair spot, out of the sun and wind. The temperature should be at least 50?F degrees. Using a wax and grease remover or tar and insect remover works well to prepare the area for paint. You may wish to mask up the area with high quality tape to prevent damage to the surrounding areas. Use a clean cotton T-shirt to apply the rubbing compound. Apply light pressure to smooth the surface and shine the paint.
